It's been a long time coming but I finally found the time to get my site up and running! For now it's pretty bare bones but that'll change as I continue to refine the look and feel of my online portfolio. Currently the 3d work section and most of the sub directories are active with content. The 2d section will be updated as I finish up some drawings that I've been working on, the same could be said for the tutorials section. I'm working on a metal skinning tutorial that I hope to have available in the near future. With that said I hope you enjoy the work that's presented and I'll continue to update it regularly with new art and news. Thanks for visiting!
I've used images that have been made public but my hope is to show the high res versions of the models from different angles. Once I get the green light this section will be expanded so stay tuned! On a final note the Medusa character I made for Game Artisans competition has placed 1st, also Pixologic has a few words from me and the images on there front page http://www.pixologic.com/home.php just click in the news section on the bottom right corner. Well that’s it for now but check back in the near future. Later!
Hey Folks time for some new updates! The 3d character section has been updated with a new model that I've been working on in what little spare time I have these days. The sculpt was my first attempt at learning Mudbox and what was supposed to be a test sculpt little by little turned into a finished model! I'll probably go back and attempt some new renders with a few new shaders I've been playing with but for now she's pretty much done. I'd like to give a special thanks to Mashru Mishu for helping me get acquainted with Mudbox, it made learning the application so much smoother. In other news I won Game Artisans extreme make over competition, you can read the interview I did with them here: Artist Interview. The competition took place a few months ago and was tons of fun, I'm glad that I was not only able participate but also finish what I started as well. Last but not least is Frontlines: Fuel of War, there's a new preview on IGN: http://pc.ign.com/articles/828/828521p1.html. The preview shows off some new video of the game as well as some new images. For the most part the game is coming along really well and I think gamers will love it once they get a chance to play it, the game should be on store shelves in the 1st quarter of 2008! With that said I'm signing off for now but make sure to check back for any new updates!
Hey everyone, I’d like to mention that Frontlines: Fuel of War has shipped and I thought that I would share some of the work that I contributed to the project. You can find the final images in the weapons & vehicles section and in the props section as well. I would like to thank the good folks at Kaos Studios for allowing me to help contribute to a fantastic game and I wish them all of the best! With that said I’d also like to mention that I’ve begun freelancing fulltime and offer a wide range of services at competitive rates. Feel free to contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org if you think I can help contribute to your project and I'll send you my rates and availability A.S.A.P.
Well the great battle known as Dominance War 3 is over and I’ve updated my site with the character model I made. I had a great time working on the character and I’m looking forward to participating again in next year’s competition!
